The Ezip 900 Electric Scooteris yet another in a long line of electric powered vehicles maufactured by Currie Technologies. The company, founded in 2000, has been a staunch advocate of the "Green" movement with it's wide assortment of environmentally friendly transporatation products.
I never considered a Ezip 900 Electric Scooterfor our family, until it came time to consider another vehicle. With only 1 car, it was becomingly increasingly inconvenient to run short errands to nearby destinations.
Another car was certainly an option, but I really couldn't afford one. Also, I didn't like the idea of another gas powered vehicle poluting the environment.
I first saw the Ezip 900 when my neighbor whizzed by me on the one he had just bought. It really caught my eye because it was moving along at a pretty good clip.
Unfortunately, we had just moved in to the neighborhood, and I did not know my neighbors yet. Otherwise, I would have asked him where he bought his electric scooter.
I knew I wouldn't find the Ezip 900 Electric Scooter in our town, as it is far too small. So my only other option was to try and find some information online.
I went online and "Googled" in "electric scooters", and my goodness did I get all sorts of information!

Most of the electric scooters that were intended for use by kids and young adults, were not "heavy duty" enough for me. Most of them are really intended for riders who are under 200 lbs.
I tip the scales at around 190lbs,(on a good day), so I wanted a scooter built for adults. The Razor E300S Elecctric Scooter seemed ok, however I still was not convinced that it was sturdy enough for me.
