Our Ezip 900 scooter arrived approximately 31/2 days after we ordered it. We bought it from Amazon.com and got 72.00 off list and free shipping.

We figured that four family members would be eligible to ride the Ezip 900 electric scooter. Myself, my wife, and my two sons- 12&16 years of age.

Consequently, we had to buy four helmets to accompany the bike. We actually bought motorcycle "style" helmets, with shields to protect the face.

My sons were at school, and my wife was at work, so I was the first "Guinea Pig" to ride the Ezip 900 scooter.

The scooter took a little while to unpack, because it was so protected. However, setting up the bike could not have been easier. Upon inspection, I was extremely impressed with the quality of construction.

The Ezip 900 electric scooter seemed very safe and sturdy. I couldn't wait to put it through it's "paces"!

I decided not to ride with the included, adjustable seat. I will use it for longer rides in the future. I have heard that the seat is quite comfortable.

The deck of the scooter is impressively wide, and features a non slip surface. As I pushed the button to start the engine, I couldn't believe how quiet it is!

I took off down my driveway, and made a left on to the sidewalk. Generally speaking, you want to stay off the streets as much as possible. The Ezip 900 electric scooter has a top speed of 15 mph, and it is remarkable how fast that feels on the Ezip 900!

For the most part, my ride was very smooth and relatively bump free. The Ezip 900 scooter has a good suspension for such a small vehicle.

I really liked the responsiveness of the twist throttle, and controlling the speed with the throttle felt "cool"! Braking was impressive as well, with the quality disc brakes.

Luckily, I arrived home to find three other anxious riders. I had enough fun for one day!
